Actinidia Pasha™ Arctic Beauty™ Male Kiwi is a compact, woody, deciduous vine valued for ornamental and for cross-pollination purposes. Pasha is prized for its colorful heart-shaped leaves that are prettily splashed with soft pink, white, and green variegation. Fragrant small white flowers appear in spring, attracting pollinators. This male variety does not bear fruit but can pollinate up to 8 Arctic Beauty female plants.
An Actinidia kolomikta variety, also known as arctic beauty kiwi or variegated kiwi vine, Pasha Arctic Beauty grows 6 to 8 feet in width. Grow on a fence, trellis, arbor or other support.
Kiwi grows best in sunny to partly shady locations with average, medium moist, well-draining soil. The plant likes some shade, but too much shade will diminish foliage color. Arctic Beauty Kiwi is hardy to minus 40° F. and is not bothered by pests or diseases.
